Thank you for the interesting facts of Mexican goddesses. One always associates goddesses with other cultures, and not with our Mexican culture. The TLC sculpture was very impressive, and sadly true. It is important for Mexican women to keep their ethnicity, especially in other countries.

dear friends of peter, i am a retired spanish teacher who is also an amateur surf videographer from rye beach n.h. Last march i met peter in his z town galerry painting away and admired the work he had on the wall and bought two large postcards of the z bAY 'Breaking' and calm.he signed both of them and we charlard about the local surfing scene.i am returning to zihua on monday march 3 and planned to look up peter as a resource on getting to troncones and the surf sites to the north. i was shocked when i got on the web site and learned he had passed away. just last night i was thinking of having him do a painting of 'las gatas' GOING OFF as the natives tell me it does in big wave season. now it looks like i will have to settle with the two signed postcards i have and the memories ihave of chatting with him on a very warm and sunny zihuafternoon.hasta pronto , Ray |

Love the site, but I think it would be nice if there was more detail of our culture. There are so many of our children lost in "American culture" that it is nice to have resources for them to learn about who they are and be proud. |
