A memorial gathering and homage to master sculptor Arturo Macias, whose incredible sculptures of the goddesses and great women of Mexico, among other figures and representations, have graced many lives both here and around the world, took place in his home town of Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico.

Artist and photographer,  Salvador Gonzalez, a native and resident of the city of Puebla in central Mexico, is newly featured in the Zihrena Gallery this month. Now in his 80s, his works are evocative of the old and traditional Mexican way of life, full of character and charisma.
